Blame’s March Wins Woody Stephens-G2

MARCH, a 3-year-old from the first crop by Eclipse Champion BLAME, was coming off a come-from-behind victory in the Bay Shore-G3 at Aqueduct on April 4.  Trained by Chad Brown and racing for Robert LaPenta, MARCH made another dramatic stretch run to win the 7-furlong Woody Stephens S.-G2 on the Belmont undercard.  The colt settled in fourth behind the leaders, then charged through an opening along the rail to win at the wire.

Bred in Kentucky by Lakland, MARCH is out of the Unbridled’s Song mare Lifeinthefastlane. He now has three wins and second from five starts with earnings of $512,500.
