BLAME’S FIND FAULT Rallies to Win Gulfstream Maiden Special Weight Debut

Making her career debut in a Maiden Special Weight at Gulfstream Park, FIND FAULT closed from five lengths back to win this 6 1/2-furlong test by 1/2 length. The 3-year-old filly from the first crop of Champion BLAME was unhurried early in this eight-horse field after breaking from the inside post. She angled off the rail midway around the turn, was four wide at the top of the lane and ran down the leader inside the final furlong to get the win. Bred in Kentucky by Jerry Crawford out of the A.P. Indy mare, Lucida, the $260,000 Keeneland 2013 Sales grad is trained by Bill Mott for Amerman Racing.
