Firsthand Report (BLAME), the $310,000 Keeneland September Yearling Sales grad made her debut with a gutsy, winning performance in a six-furlong Maiden Special Weight at Gulfstream Park. The Todd Pletcher trainee for owner StarLadies Racing set a pressured pace from the start. The 3-year-old filly by BLAME never led by more than a 1/2 length the whole way around, but would never allow the other filly to get by her, winning by 1/2 length.
