$600,000 BLAME Colt on First Night of Saratoga Select Sale

On the first night of the two-night Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Selected Yearling Sale, a colt from the third crop of Champion BLAME brought a final bid of $600,000 from Willis Horton & D. Wayne Lukas. Hip 44, a February 15th foal out of Be My Prospect, by Forest Wildcat, was bred in Kentucky by Samac and consigned to the sale by Eaton Sales, agent. BLAME was also represented by a $175,000 filly, hip 17 out of Voyage by Rahy, that went to Claiborne Farm and Adele Dilschneider, and a $150,000 filly, hip 45 out of Bold Angel, by Cat Thief, that was purchased by Steven W. Young, agent.
