Yo Carm (Flatter) wins Bruce D. Memorial Stakes

Yo Carm, a 3yo colt by FLATTER out of Iolanda, won the $75,000 Bruce D. Memorial Stakes at Arlington Park Aug 13. It was a sentimental victory for owner/breeder Ed Fortino, who is the brother-in-law of this stakes race’s namesake, the late Bruce Duchossois.

This race marked the Polytrack debut for Yo Carm, who prevailed by a half length in pulling the upset among a field of 10 starters.

Yo Carm became the 38th stakes winner for his sire FLATTER and the 8th this year, including Grade 1 victors TARIS and PAOLA QUEEN.
