TRUBS made his second straight visit to the winner’s circle after his victory in the 4th race at Delta Downs going one mile over the fast main track.
The son of FIRST SAMURAI was away swiftly from the nine post in the field of ten and he quickly reached a position to push the pacesetter. Drawing closer around the turn, he was fanned out into the six path at the top of the stretch. He doggedly kept closing, overcoming the trouble to take the lead a furlong from home. He continued on to win by nearly two lengths.
