Trio Represent WAR OF WILL At Fasig-Tipton New York-Bred Sale

Three yearlings from WAR OF WILL’s first crop will be offered at the upcoming Fasig-Tipton New York-Bred Yearlings Sale with one selling on Sunday and the other two on Monday.

The first offered is Hip 318 from the Straight Line Equine Sales consignment on Sunday. The colt is out of the Grade 3-placed Maid on a Mission, who has produced two placed runners from her two to race.

Maid on a Mission is out of a half-sister to the multiple stakes winner and multiple graded stakes placed Momsfurrari and stakes winner Far Out Favorite with another runner also earning a stakes placing.

The New Hill Farm bred the March 30-born colt, who will be making his first appearance in the sales ring here.

A half-brother to the stakes-placed Dreaming of Cara is offered by Paramount Sales as Hip 414.

Dreaming of Cara won three starts in addition to her stakes placings and is the dam of the stakes placed duo of Cara’s Dreamer and English Breeze. This page improved even more after the catalog was released when the colt’s half-sister Kenosha broke her maiden to take their dam to seven winners from seven to race.

This is a strong New York family with the colt’s page including Grade 2 winner and Grade 1 placed Central Banker, who is a successful New York sire, and the multiple graded stakes winning New York-bred Cross Border.

Hip 504 is the last through the ring for WAR OF WILL as the only filly offered by the stallion at this sale.

Consigned by Sequel New York, the filly is the second foal out of the winning Annie Go Lightly. That mare is a half-sister to the Grade 3 winner The Tabulator and stakes placed Star Via Strada with their dam Fly to the Stars producing eight winners overall. Fly to the Stars is a half-sister to stakes winner Gallant Talent and Resounder and to the granddam of Grade 1 winner Bellamy Road.

Also under the filly’s first four dams are Grade 1 winners Gold Fever and Boisterous and Grade 2 winner Jackpot among others.

The first of this sale’s two sessions starts at 7pm with the second taking place at noon the following day.
