TRAPPE SHOT SIRES FIRST FOAL

The first reported foal by Graded stakes winner TRAPPE SHOT is a colt born January 15 at Blackstone Farm near Pine Grove, Pennsylvania. Bred by the farm, the colt is the first foal out of the stakes-placed Broken Vow mare, Return the Jewel. By the G1 SW TAPIT, a son of the late Claiborne stallion PULPIT, TRAPPE SHOT won the True North H.-G2 by 8 1/2 lengths, running a 111 Beyer, and finished runner-up in the Alfred G. Vanderbilt H.-G1 (by a nose, earning a 112 Beyer) and the Haskell Invitational S.-G1.
