At this year’s OBS March Sale of 2YOs in Training, a couple first-crop colts by TRAPPE SHOT attracted attention from some well-known buyers. Hip 15, a May 5th foal out of Castanea, by Horse Chestnut (SAf) went to Steven W. Young, agent. The colt worked :10 1/5 for a furlong in his Under-Tack session. And hip 372, an April 17th foal out of Revel in the Win, by Red Bullet, was purchased by Patrice Miller, EQB Inc., agent for Zayat Stables after also working :10 1/5 for a furlong during his Under-Tack session.
