THIRD WINNER FOR FIRST SAMURAI

KING SAMURAI dispatched the maiden special weight field in the 6th race at Presque Isle Downs with ease and he became the THIRD winner for Freshman Sire FIRST SAMURAI.

Favored in the four and one-half furlong contest over the Tapeta Footings surface, KING SAMURAI never gave his backers an anxious moment. Sharply away from post eight, he cleared the field quickly and opened up by two lengths. He increased his lead at every call and he went on to an impressive five length victory.

KING SAMURAI was bred in Florida by Marion G. Mantanari and he is out of the Devil His Due mare, Hostility. He races for Raymond Rech, Bill Meyers and Winning Stable, Inc.
