RUNHAPPY’s Somebody’s Problem became another juvenile stakes winner for her sire on Friday night with a romp in the Prairie Meadows Debutante Stakes.
A 6 ¾ length winner last out at Ellis Park for owner/breeder Hoolie Racing Stable, she followed that up with a 4 ¼ length maiden stakes victory in this sport. Racing over six furlongs on the dirt in her stakes debut, she spent the early part of the race shadowing the pacesetter before taking control as they turned into the stretch.
No one in the field was a match for the juvenile as she pulled away by 4 ¼ lengths with the third placed runner 10 ¼ lengths behind her.
Trained by Greg Foley, Somebody’s Problem has won two of her three starts.
She is the second foal out of BLAME’s stakes winning First Hand Report, who herself is out of the stakes-placed Kinsey.
Kinsey is one of four stakes performers out of Raspberry Eggcream with the other three stakes winners.
RUNHAPPY is the sire of five 2-year-old stakes winners and six 2-year-old stakes performers, led by last year’s Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes (G2) winner Smile Happy.
