FLATTER’s Search Results impressed on debut Sunday at Gulfstream Park’s Championship Meet for Klaravich Stables and Chad Brown when romping home by four lengths as the race favorite. Impressing in workouts at Payson Park in the weeks before her debut, the Machmer Hall-bred proved to be speedy enough to leave the field behind in the closing stages.
Racing over six furlongs on the dirt, Search Results broke slowly under Irad Ortiz Jr. but quickly sped up the rail to race just a few lengths behind the leader. Ortiz looked confident when asking his filly to move to the outside of the field as they turned into the stretch and the race was over from that point.
Under an easy ride, Search Results romped away to win by four lengths and give the impression there was plenty left to give if asked.
