At the recently concluded Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale, ORB led all first year sires by weanling average and median with three or more sold. The Kentucky Derby-G1 and Florida Derby-G1 winner had 15 offered with 14 sold for an average of $123,214 and a median of $140,000. ORB also had the top colt and filly prices. Hip 333, a March colt out GSW Just Louise, by Five Star Day, sold for $300,000 to Norwood Stables. Hip 1154, a March filly out of stakes-placed Pastel Gal, by Lemon Drop Kid, brought $270,000 from Stonestreet Thoroughbred Holdings.
