CATHOLIC BOY waits over 200 hips before Hip 205 kicks off his sale with the filly hailing from the de Meric Sales consignment.

The Florida-bred filly comes from Tami Bobo and Milan Kosanovich’s breeding program and will be making her first trip through the sales ring in Ocala. Her stakes placed dam Olga Payne has seen all three of her runners place with one of those runners winning at both two and three. Olga Payne herself is one of two stakes performers for the stakes performing Classic Contender alongside multiple stakes placed Seaside.

This filly’s extended family also includes Grade 1 winner Spit Curl, Grade 2 winner Maruka Phoenix, and Grade 3 winner Diver. In all, there are 18 stakes performers named under the filly’s first four dams.

The KatieRich Farms-bred Hip 224 goes through the ring with Shanbally Acres as the first foal out of the stakes winning Parade of Roses. Parade of Roses is one of three stakes winners out of multiple stakes winner Rose and Shine alongside Champion 2-Year-Old Filly British Idiom and multiple stakes winner Royal Prince.

In all, Rose and Shine has produced four winners from five to race with Parade of Roses having two younger foals after this colt. This offering is bred on a similar cross to Group 2 winner Sesar and Group 3 winner and Group 1 placed Miss Admiration in addition to 16 other winners from 24 runners by More Than Ready son out of Street Cry daughters.

A half-brother to Grade 3 winner Clear Vision and two other winners from three to race goes through the ring as Hip 304 consigned by Golden Thoroughbreds Training and Sales.

Bred by Candy Meadows, the colt is a grandson of the multiple stakes winning Dolydille, whose produce record includes multiple Grade 2-placed Drill Sergeant and Grade 2 placed Nobilis. A dual stakes winning racemare, Dolydille is also a half-sister to the stakes winner and successful broodmare La Meilleure. That mare produced Group 1 winner Sholokhov and stakes winner Zavaleta with others descended from that mare including 2018 European Champion 2-Year-Old Filly Skitter Scatter and Group 1 winners Intense Focus, Soldier of Fortune, and Subjectivist.

Hip 833 from the Winner Circle Racing Stable consignment is a half-sister to stakes winning Mizzen Beau.

Their dam Donna Getyourgun is the dam of two winners from three to race with her 3-year-old Shootoutthelights winning on debut by 3 ½ lengths after selling as a yearling for $525,000. Donna Getyourgun is a half-sister to multiple stakes winner Clearly a Queen and stakes placed Queen Martha. Both are stakes producers with Queen Martha producing Canadian classic winner and Grade 2 placed British Royalty and Clearly a Queen producing two stakes performers.

Sugar Hill sends a CATHOLIC BOY colt bred by Nancy Shuford out of Doubled through the sale as Hip 837 during the final day of the sale.

A stakes winner herself, Doubled’s two winners include the stakes performing Honorifique. Honorifique registered an update after the catalog was released as well with a Keeneland win by 2 ¼ lengths on April 23. Doubled is one of four stakes producers out of her own dam with her Grade 2 winning half-sister Dancinginherdreams producing Grade 3 winner Champions Dream, and another winning half-sister producing Grade 2 winner and Grade 1 placed Texas Wedge.

Kicking off on June 13 at 10:00a.m. ET, the sale runs through June 15 with the Under Tack show taking place from June 5 to June 10 with each of those sessions starting at 7:30am.
