LADY SAMURI BECOMES NEWEST STAKES WINNER

LADY SAMURI has now won four straight after her runaway win in Monmouth’s Lighthouse S. Racing 1 1/16 miles on dirt, the 4-year-old filly by FIRST SAMURAI broke on top and never gave up the lead, drawing off in the stretch by an impressive 8 1/4 lengths in her stakes debut. Bred by Tracy Egan and Lansdon B. Robinson III out of the Intrument Landing mare, Redeye Rain, LADY SAMURI has won on dirt and turf and has now won six of her last eight starts. The eighth stakes winner in 2013 for FIRST SAMURAI, she currently races for Bruno Schickedanz and is trained by Yvon Belsoeur.
