The 5-year-old son of FIRST SAMURAIsaved ground while staying close to the frontrunners in the third spot. As they turned for home,SWIFT WARRIOR split rivals to tackle the leader and quickly pulled away to win by 1 1/4 lengths going 1 1/8 miles on the Parx Racing turf course. Earlier in the year, SWIFT WARRIOR won back-to-back graded stakes, taking Sam Houston’s John B. Connally Turf Cup S.-G3 and the Tampa Bay S.-G3, and also placd in the Colonial Turf Cup S.-G2.
