Blame’s 2YO TUTU NGURU Wins Debut at Lingfield

A $175,000 Keeneland September 2014 sales grad, TUTU NGURU made her career debut a winning one taking this six-furlong Maiden event on Lingfield’s all-weather course by 2 1/4 lengths. Off to a slow start, the 2-year-old filly from the second crop of BLAME raced near the back of the pack early on. In tight quarters as she began to move up on the leaders, TUTU NGURU swung out wide for the run home and zoomed past the leaders in mid-stretch for an impressive win. Bred by Nursery Place, Munfuso & Wilhite out of the stakes-placed War Chant mare Haka Girl, TUTU NGURU is trained by William Haggas for owner Sheikh Juma Dalmook Al Maktoum.
