Algorithms 2nd-crop yearlings impress at Keeneland September Sale

Algorithms, the undefeated son of Bernardini, sent his 2nd-crop yearlings through the Keeneland sales pavilion this week and buyers seem to be impressed. Through Book 3, all six offered have sold, including an impressive colt out of the mare Trip, who went for $220,000 to agent Steven Young. The colt was consigned by Claiborne Farm as Hip 1502.

Hip 1265, a colt out of Heart Union, brought $200,000 from agent J.J. Crupi. And another colt (Hip 1158) caught the eye of John Fort, also for $200,000.

Thus far, Algorithms yearlings are averaging $166,667, over 33 times his stud fee!
