Claiborne sire Algorithms is off to an impressive start at stud. The son of Bernardini retired undefeated, including a 5 length triumph over champion Hansen in the Holy Bull (G3). His first crop 2yos commanded prices up to $180,000 in the auction ring earlier this year, and now those juveniles are proving their worth on the track.
Algorithms already has 5 winners from 10 starters and 2 stakes horses, giving him more combined winners and stakes horses than any other freshman sire. His top runners include Recruiting Ready, runner-up in the Bashford Manor Stakes (G3), following an impressive maiden score in which he won by over 10 lengths and earned TDN Rising Star honors; as well as Junket, 2nd in the Victoria Stakes; and Bay Numbers, MSW winner at Monmouth by 6 1/4 lengths.
Algorithms stands for $5,000 and is full/half brother to 4 Graded Stakes winners, including G1 winners Justin Phillip and Greenspointcrusader, as well as Graded Stakes scorers Keyed Entry and Successful Mission.
