A colt by FIRST SAMURAI brought $155,000, the third highest priced horse at the opening session of the two-day OBS June Sale of Two-Year-Olds and Horses of Racing Age. Hip 176, a March 21st foal out of the Dynaformer mare, Shoo In, was purchased by EQB, Inc., agent for Kenneth and Sarah Ramsey. Consigned by Wavertree Stables, Inc. (Ciaran Dunne), agent, the colt worked :10 flat for an 1/8-mile, the fastest time at that distance in that day’s Under-tack show.
