It was another winner for WAR OF WILL on Thursday when Curahee impressed in a Colonial Downs Maiden Special Weight.
Racing over 5 ½ furlongs on the turf, the juvenile pressed the leader for much of the race from his outside position as the race favorite. Done playing by the time the field reached the stretch, he stuck his head in front and there was no stopping him from there.
The gelding won by six lengths in the end with the third placed runner 10 ¼ lengths back.

That mare is a half-sister to the Grade 3 winner She Can’t Sing and out of a half-sister to the Grade 3-placed Zinzay. Zinzay produced the stakes winner and Grade 1-placed Moon Over Miami.
