SILVER STATE Duo on Offer at Fasig-Tipton July

It will be a busy few minutes for SILVER STATE on Tuesday when his two on offer at the Fasig-Tipton July Sale go one after the other as Hips 77 and 78.

Penn Sales offers Hip 77 on behalf of Gilbert and Penn out of the multiple stakes winning mare Summerland. This is the second foal out of the mare, who has seen her first runner make one start as a 2-year-old this year.

Summerland is one of two winners out of the stakes winning Otero, who joins Sneeky Diversion as stakes winners out of Divot Doll. Each of the dams on the page with foals aged three or older have produced at least one stakes winner, led by the Grade 2 winning Kettleoneup. Another notable stakes performer is the 29-race winner and stakes placed Golden Hare.

Johnson Cross is the consignor of Hip 78, a colt out of the winning Distorted Humor mare Sunrise Glow.

There are stakes performers under three of the four dams on this page with Sunrise Glow a half-sister to the Grade 3-placed Copper Town and 11-time winner Central Park among the four winners from four siblings to race. Their dam is the stakes winning Dynazaper, who not only is a half-sister to a stakes performer and three other stakes producers but is also out of the Grade 2 winning Broad Dynamite.

Each of Sunrise Glow’s first eight dams have produced stakes winners, including three straight generations producing Grade 1 winners.

The one-session Fasig-Tipton July Sale kicks off at 10am on Tuesday, July 9 and is streamed on FasigTipton.com.
