CLEARLY NOW has won or placed in eight graded stakes in his last 10 starts after placing in the $400,000 Churchill Downs H.-G2. Making only his second start of the year, the 4-year-old colt by HORSE GREELEY was squeezed back soon after the break in this seven-furlong sprint on the Kentucky Derby undercard. Sitting off the pace, CLEARLY NOW made his move on the turn, was six wide coming into the stretch and rallied through the lane to finish less than two lengths from the win. In his seasonal debut, CLEARLY NOW put in a solid performance to place in the $500,000 Carter H.-G1. Last year he won the G3 Swale S. and the G3 Bold Ruler H. and now has career earnings of over $616,000.
