HORSE GREELEY led all weanling sires by average at this year’s Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co.’s Fall Mixed Sale. With two or more sold, HORSE GREELEY’s first crop weanlings averaged $41,000, including a filly out of the Bertrando mare Merryvale consigned by Summerfield, agent that went to Quarter Pole Enterprises for $47,000. Another nice individual, a colt out of the Silver Deputy mare La Carina consigned by Moreau Bloodstock Int’l, agent went to James Layden, agent for $35,000.
