$410,000 BLAME Colt at KTKJUL

At the one day Fasig-Tipton July Sale of Selected Yearlings, a colt from the second crop of Champion BLAME brought a final bid of $410,000 from Charles Sandford. The second highest priced individual of the sale, hip 259, was co-bred by Bayne Welker, Jr. and his wife Christina, and Lochlow Farm. The March 18th foal out of stakes-placed Indian Charlie mare, Princess Birdeye, was consigned by James Herbener Jr., agent. “Ever since he was born, wesaid it was the best foal we’ve ever had,” said Bayne.
