WAR OF WILL’s racing owner Gary Barber was responsible for his most expensive offering this week when going to $230,000 for a Denali Stud offering.
The colt bred by Canvasback is a half-brother to the stakes winner Diamond City and Grade 2-placed Barista with those two the first runners out of Tapit’s winning daughter Callista.
Callista is a full sister to stakes winner and Grade 2-placed Sweet Tapper and Grade 3-placed American Seed in addition to being a half-sister to the Grade 2-placed Perregaux.
His family also includes the Grade 1 winning Include Me Out and Sam’s Sister among others.
WAR OF WILL has seen his yearlings sell for up to $650,000 this year with his 60 sold bringing an average of $116,839.
