Success Continues for War Of Will at Fasig-Tipton New York-Bred Sale

WAR OF WILL followed up a successful Fasig-Tipton Saratoga sale with more success at the Fasig-Tipton New York-Bred Yearlings Sale.

His most expensive of the three was a $200,000 colt purchased by West Point and Sonson.

Offered by Paramount Sales, the Berkshire Stud-bred is out of the Quiet American mare Sheboygan. That mare is also the dam of stakes-placed Dreaming of Cara, who produced the stakes-placed duo of Cara’s Dreamer and English Breeze, and six other winners from her seven to race.

That group includes 10-time winner Born In Brooklyn and six-time winner Madison Blues in addition to new winner Kenosha. This colt’s extended family includes Grade 2 winners Private Emblem, Central Banker, Gantry, and Cross Border.

A $130,000 filly was purchased by Tom Morley from co-breeder Sequel Thoroughbreds, who bred her with Magnolia Mares.

This is the second foal out of the winning Take Charge Indy mare Annie Go Lightly. She is a half-sister to Grade 3 winner The Tabulator and stakes-placed Star Via Strada among her seven winning half-siblings. This page includes Grade 1 winner Bellamy Road and Grade 2 winners Calibrachoa and Tommy Gun with those under her fourth dam including Grade 1 winners Gold Fever and Boisterous.

WAR OF WILL is averaging $230,000 for nine sold from his first crop with his yearlings selling for $650,000, $380,000, $320,000, etc.
