His first through the ring is the Top Line Sales-offered and BHMFR-bred Hip 224, a colt out of Aesculus. A stakes performer herself, the Horse Chestnut daughter is the dam of six winners from six to race – including the nine-time winner Perfect Parade. Aesculus is a half-sister to the champion Plantagenet and to the stakes producing Arcangela. This family also includes successful racehorse and sire Upstart and his Grade 2 winning granddam Josh’s Madelyn. He breezed 10 FLAT at the under tack show on Wednesday.

HIP 224

Just over 430 hips later is a filly offered by Silvestre Chavez Thoroughbreds as Hip 652. The filly is out of the multiple winner Maryanna Star, a half-sister to the multiple stakes placed Sweetnessngoodness, who has produced one winner from one of racing age. Each of Maryanna Star’s first six dams are all stakes winners with her third and fourth dams also winning stakes.

Bred by Dunlane Farm, the filly is bred on the same Dubawi (Ire) son x Storm Cat granddaughter cross as three Grade 3 winners and 10 stakes performers from 80 runners.

HIP 774

Hip 774 is a well-bred colt from the All Dreams Equine consignment. The March-born colt is the first out of Prehistory, a half-sister to the stakes winner and multiple Grade 1-placed Wonder Gal. Wonder Gal herself is the dam of last year’s Champion 2-Year-Old Filly Wonder Wheel, who has two Grade 1 wins on her resume and came back this year with a second in the Listed Suncoast Stakes.

Prehistory’s dam is a half-sister to multiple Grade 3 winner Social Queen – that mare the dam of Grade 1 winner Force The Pass.

DEMARCHELIER’s (GB) Hip 785 from the New Horizons Bloodstock consignment is a half-sister to three stakes performers. Out of the stakes-placed Proud and Charming, Hip 785 is a half-sister to Rapturous, Mia Martina, and The Adrie Factor.

In addition to the promise of stakes success this filly’s page shows, it also gives hints of her potential as a broodmare. Each of the filly’s first nine dams have either produced stakes performers or the dams of performers. Her fourth dam’s offspring include the Grade 1 winner and Epsom Derby (G1) second Hawaiian Sound.

The OBS March Two-Year-Olds In Training Sale Under Tack Show starts at 8a.m. every morning from March 14 to 17 with the sale taking place at 11a.m. each morning from March 20 to 22.
