In her first start of the year, 5-year-old daughter of FLATTER, TARIS, posted her fourth graded stakes win when she crossed the finish line first in the $200,000 G2 La Canada Stakes at Santa Anita Park on January 16th. Ridden by Gary Stevens, TARIS took the lead around the far turn and stayed ahead to win by 5-1/4 lengths.
TARIS has won six races in 10 starts, including the 2015 Go for Wand H.-G3 and a nine-length win in Keeneland’s 2014 Lexus Raven Run S.-G2. The $807,700 earner was bred by Claiborne Farm and Adele Dilschneider out of the Theatrical (Ire) mare, Comedy.
