2YO SHAMAAL NIBRAS WINS BY 4 LENGTHS AT WOLFERHAMPTON

SHAMAAL NIBRAS, a 2-year-old colt from the second crop of FIRST SAMURAI, won this nearly six-furlong Maiden race on the all-weather track at Wolferhampton, GB, on June 20.

Always prominent in the race in fourth position, the heavy favorite went four wide swinging for home and into the stretch, then took over with a furlong to go and won in a hand ride by four lengths. SHAMAAL NIBRAS, bred in Kentucky by Andrew Cohen, races for Tariq S. Al Tayer and is trained by Ed Dunlop who purchased him out of the April 2011 Tattersalls Craven Breeze-Up Sale.
