2YO REALLY MR GREELY WINS MAIDEN BY 7 1/2 AT SANTA ANITA

Making just his second start after a troubled trip in his Maiden Special Weight debut at Santa Anita, REALLY MR GREELEY drew away from the field through the stretch to break his maiden by 7 1/2 lengths. Trying Santa Anita’s main track again racing six furlongs, this 2-year-old colt by HORSE GREELY pressed the pace from the outset after breaking from post four, took the lead at the 1/4 pole, then extended that lead through the stretch drive for the final margin of victory. Racing for Karl Watson, Michael E. Pegram and Paul Weitman, and trained by Bob Baffert, he is the third winner in the last seven days for HORSE GREELEY.
