2YO GO GREELEY WINS 3RD CONSECUTIVE STAKES

GO GREELEY won for the fourth time in five career starts after a determined performance in the $200,000 Simcoe S. at Woodbine. The 2-year-old colt by HORSE GREELEY stalked the pace along the inside and on through the turn in this 6 1/2-furlong sprint. Angled out wide entering the stretch, GO GREELEY put in a strong closing kick and caught the frontrunner at the wire. It was his third consecutive stakes score whose lone defeat was by a nose in the Clarendon S. His previous stakes wins were in the $150,000 Vandal S. and the Colin S.

Owned and trained by John A. Ross, GO GREELEY is out of the Smoke Glacken mare, Orchids Halo, and was bred by Shannon Farms. He now has earnings of $356,371.
