Claiborne Farm announced Nov. 18 that multiple Grade 1 winner WAR OF WILL’s stud fee will be set at $20,000 LFSN for the 2025 breeding season.
Preakness Stakes (G1) and Maker’s Mark Mile (G1) winner WAR OF WILL is North America’s second-leading freshman sire by turf winners and earnings, led by the stakes-placed runners She’s Got Will, My Emmy, and Garden of War. In total, WAR OF WILL currently has 14 winners from his first crop.
In the auction ring this year, his 2-year-olds sold up to $400,000, with yearlings selling up to $230,000.
A Grade 1 winner on both dirt and turf, WAR OF WILL also won the Risen Star (G2) and LeComte (G3), and placed in the Woodbine Mile (G1), Pennsylvania Derby (G1), and Summer S. (G1) for career earnings of $1,881,803.
