Two $3 Million Mares in foal to WAR FRONT at FT November

At the one-day Fasig-Tipton November Sale, two mares in foal to WAR FRONT each brought final bids of $3 million. Hip 148, Sweet Lulu, a G1 SW by Mr. Greeley was purchased by Summer Wind Farm. Hip 161, Wine Princess, a G2 SW by Ghostzapper went to DATTT Farm LLC. And another in foal mare, hip 119, Night Lagoon (Ger), highweighted filly on the German Free Handicap at 2 and a G3 SW and champion producer by Lagunas, was taken by BBA Ireland Ltd. For the sale, Sweet Lulu and Wine Princess were the top two highest priced mares in foal and WAR FRONT led all covering sires, two or more sold, with an average of $2,566,667.
