More Stakes Success for Top Sire War Front

It was another fruitful weekend in the stakes ranks for Claiborne’s prolific sire War Front. Mosler tasted victory in the $100,000 Laurel Dash Stakes Sept 10th, while War Dancer prevailed in the PTHA President’s Cup Stakes the same day.

These two stakes victories showed the versatility and staying power for the sire known for his proclivity to sire top juveniles… as both Mosler and War Dancer are 5 and 6 year-olds, respectively.

Also this past weekend, a pair of 3-year-olds by War Front hit the board in Graded Stakes competition. Filly Mise En Rose, finished runner-up in the Grade 3 Japan Racing Association Sceptre Stakes at Doncaster.

On Sept 10th, the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf (G1) winner Hit It a Bomb, placed in the Clipper Logistics Boomerang S. at Leopardstown.

On the year, War Front, the world’s #1 sire of 2yos, has 31 SH, 16 SW, 18 GSH, 8 GSW, 3 G1SH.
