Multiple stakes winner SKYLANDER GIRL placed in her second Graded stakes of the year finishing runner-up in the Whimsical S.-G3 on the Woodbine Polytrack. The 4-year-old daughter of STROLL broke on top but elected to stalk the pacesetter in second in this six-furlong sprint. It was the ninth time she has won or placed in stakes in her career and now has earnings of $467,707.
And at Pimlico, SPECIAL ENVOY became STROLL’s newest stakes horse placing in the $100,000 Henry S. Clark S. The 4-year-old raced in a stalking position early on in the one mile turf event. He moved up between horses in mid-stretch and battled to the wire missing the win by only two lengths.
