The dual surface Grade 1 winner has one offering on the first day when Bobby Dodd offers Hip 331, a colt out of Virginia Hill.

The winning Sky Mesa mare produced a juvenile winner from her first foal and is a half-sister to the Grade 3 winner and Grade 1-placed Suddenbreakingnews. This is a successful stakes producing family with another of Virginia Hill’s siblings producing the Grade 1-placed Cyclone Mischief as well.

Grade 3 winning third dam Party Cited earned her own Grade 1 placing before producing multiple Grade 1 winner Composure and three other stakes performers. Composure is also the dam of Grade 2 winner Penworth and the dam of Grade 3 winners Shared Sense and Comparative among others.

The second foal out of the stakes winning Giovanna Blues is offered by Cortez Racing and Sales as Hip 683 during the second session.

That mare’s first foal to race is already a two-time winner and Giovanna Blues herself won three starts and placed in multiple graded stakes. Each of the four dams on this page have either produced a stakes performer or are one with Grade 3 winning Cozy Blues – Giovanna Blues’s granddam – both winning a stakes and producing a stakes performer.

Consigned by Randy Miles, a filly out of the stakes winning Hi Holiday sells as Hip 734.

That Harlan’s Holiday mare is one of three stakes winners out of Grade 2-placed Boleyn alongside multiple Grade 3 winner Dr. B and stakes winner Stand Up Comic. A granddaughter of Grade 1 winner Magnificent Lindy, Boleyn is one of four stakes performers out of Magnificent Baby.

Magnificent Baby’s runners are led by stakes winner Magnificent Val with her four stakes performers winning a combined 21 races.

The second foal out of the stakes placed Mermaid of Honor is offered as Hip 907 as WAR OF WILL’s final offering of the sale after breezing in :10.1.

That mare’s first foal placed after the catalog was released, finishing third in a Woodbine maiden on May 24. Mermaid of Honor’s half-sister Airkita was also placed two days later after winning two races last year. They are out of the stakes winning Fancy Fusaichi, a half-sister to the stakes winning Fancy Point and to four other stakes performers with 10 winners overall out of Mermaid of Honor’s granddam Fancy Clancy.

Three of the four dams on this page have at least placed in stakes with fourth dam Fabuleux Jane winning a Grade 3 and then producing Grade 1 winner Joyeux Danseur and two other stakes winners.

The OBS June 2-Year-Olds In Training Sale starts on Tuesday, June 12 at 10am and runs across four sessions with the same start time every day.
