FLATTERYWILLGETYOU, the talented daughter of Claiborne sire FLATTER, continued her hot streak May 30, winning the $125,000 Bouwerie Stakes at Belmont.
After a 3rd place finish in her only start at 2, she is undefeated in four starts this year, with earnings approaching $200,000. Bred by First Class Thoroughbreds, she is trained by Linda Rice for Everythings Cricket Racing.
According to the DRF, “Her final time of 1:23.42 for seven furlongs was 0.52 seconds faster than 3-year-old colts and geldings covered the same distance earlier on the card in the Mike Lee Stakes.”
Flatterywillgetyou became the 5th stakes winner (11th stakes horse) for Flatter in 2016, including Graded Stakes scorers Taris, Kobe’s Back, Ami’s Flatter, and Upstart.
