FIRST SAMURAI’s FIRST CROP VERY SUCCESSFUL AT KEENELAND SEPTEMBER

Yearlings from the recently concluded 2009 Keeneland September Yearling Sale from the first crop of multiple Grade 1 winner FIRST SAMURAI sold extremely well.

The top price of $775,000 was paid for the dark bay colt out of Preach. Other top prices included $400,000 paid for the dark bay colt out of Avaknowsthecode and the bay filly out of Mayhavebeentheone; $330,000 for the dark bay filly out of Shop Again; $325,000 for the chestnut colt out of Princess Patricia; $275,000 for the gray colt out Queen’s Triomphe and $200,000 for the chestnut filly out of Doppio Expresso.
