CEE’S FAST, a 3-year-old filly from the first crop of FIRST SAMURAI, took this 1 1/16-mile Maiden Special Weight on the turf at Colonial Downs on July 2.
Setting an easy pace from the inside, CEE’S FAST came under pressure heading into the stretch but then quickly pulled away to win by 5 3/4 lengths in her first start of the year, and third lifetime.
