BAFFLE ME WINS BELMONT’S JAZZY S.

BAFFLE ME won her second stakes at Belmont taking the seven-furlong Jazzy S. on the turf by 2 1/2 lengths. Prompting the pace just a length off the lead and under a good hold, the 4-year-old filly by FIRST SAMURAI took a slight lead in upper stretch and widened her margin of victory to the wire. Earlier in the year, BAFFLE ME was runner-up in Saratoga’s Speed Boat S. and also placed in Belmont’s Fairy Garden S. In 2012, BAFFLE ME won Belmont’s Banner Gala S.

Bred in Kentucky by The Peter J. Callahan Revocable Trust Dated 2/28/02 and out of the Awesome Again mare, Wonderously, BAFFLE ME races for Lee Lewis and is trained by Mark Hennig.
