At the one-day Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Fall Yearling Sale held in Timonium, Maryland, a colt byFLATTER brought a final bid of $260,000, the highest price of the sale. The only FLATTER in the sale, hip 29 is the second foal out of the stakes-winning Victory Gallop mare, American Victory. He was purchased by Ellen Charles’ Hillwood Stable. Bred by Sycamore Hall Thoroughbreds, the March 18th foal was consigned by Northview Stallion Station, agent. Remarked Charles, “He’s a wonderful size and has a wonderful presence, beautiful physical, gorgeous walk and seems to have a very good line.”
