WAR FRONT 2YO Tops Tattersalls Guineas Sale

At the one day Tattersalls Guineas Breeze-Up and Horses-in-Training Sale, a filly by WAR FRONT topped the sale going for 270,000gns ($478,917) to David Redvers, racing and bloodstock manager for Sheikh Fahad Al Thani. Hip 233, a February 7th foal and the first out of the stakes-placed Lemon Drop Kid mare, Pastel Gal, was bred in Kentucky by Highfield Farm. She was consigned to the sale by Jim McCartan of Gaybrook Lodge Stud, who purchased her out of the 2013 Keeneland September Yearling Sale.
