A $950,000 Saratoga yearling purchase, “The Prince” won his first three starts , including a stakes record-setting victory in the Best Pal (G3). From there, he captured the Runhappy Del Mar Futurity (G1). At 3, he finished runner-up in both the Woody Stephens (G1) and H. Allen Jerkens (G1), where his Ragozin Speed Figures were faster than the winners of each race.
