STACKED DECK Wins Second Graded Stakes at Woodbine

STACKED DECK won his second Graded stakes in his last four starts taking Woodbine’s Grade 2 Kennedy Road S. by 2 3/4 lengths. The 4-year-old son of FIRST SAMURAI stalked the pace early, went five wide on the turn taking over after they straightened for the run home, and pulled away impressively. The final time for the six furlongs was 1:08.34, less than a 1/5 second off the track record earning a 103 Beyer Figure. In September, STACKED DECK won the 6 1/2-furlong Bold Venture S.-G3 in 1:14 3/5, only 1/5 second off the track record. He also placed in Keeneland’s off-the-turf Woodford S.-G3 and the one mile King Edward S.-G2 on Woodbine’s turf course. The Bruce Lunsford homebred was a 6 1/2-length Maiden Special Weight winner at two and won the Charley Barley S. in his first start as a 3-year-old. He now has seven wins and earnings of $401,577.
