SEEKING PARADISE Earns Fair Grounds Maiden Special Weight Win

Having placed in her first two starts of the year beaten less than two lengths combined, SEEKING PARADISE rallied to win this 5 1/2-furlong Maiden Special Weight on the turf at Fair Grounds. The 3-year-old filly from the first crop of Champion BLAME swung four wide on the turn, took control in upper stretch and dug in to get the win in a dead heat for first. SEEKING PARADISE has finished runner-up in Maiden Special Weight races at Keeneland (beaten a head), Churchill (beaten 3/4 length) and Fair Grounds (beaten 3/4 length). Bred in Kentucky by Helen T. Andrews & Twin Hopes Farm out of the Stormy Atlantic mare Eden’s Storm, SEEKING PARADISE is trained by Bret Calhoun for Double Infinity Ranch.
