NEW SW FOR FLATTER

Following a “TDN Rising Star” debut in December, TARIS moved up to stakes company for her second start. After breaking slowly the 3-year-old daughter of FLATTER wasted no time getting to the front of the field and holding that position for the duration of the seven-furlong $100,000 Wide Country S. at Laurel Park. TARIS moved clear of the field by the ½-mile pole and made easy work of the race to finish 5 1/2 lengths ahead of the field. Bred by Claiborne Farm and Adele Dilschneider, TARIS is raced in the name of Commonwealth New Era Racing that includes her trainer Todd Beattie.
