At the recently concluded Keeneland January Horses of All Ages Sale, the graded stakes-winning mare Snow Top Mountain, in foal to Eclipse Champion BLAME, sold for $950,000. Purchased by Audley Farm, Snow Top Mountain was bred and raced by the late Barbara Hunter who operated Brownwood Farm. Also at the sale, BLAME was represented by two yearling fillies – a $170,000 purchase that was out of the Valid Appeal mare, Miz United States, and the other, a $150,000 buy that was out of the Carson City mare, Absolute Nectar. These were the only yearlings by BLAME in the sale.
