JUSTIN PHILLIP added another game runner-up finish in the Vosburgh

Invitational S.-G1 at Belmont. Caught in an aggressive stretch duel with the eventual winner that resulted in a steward’s inquiry, JUSTIN PHILLIP was narrowly beaten in this six-furlong test over the main track run in a time of 1:08. This marked the fifth graded race that JUSTIN PHILLIP has won or placed in this year and the 12th of his career. The son of FIRST SAMURAI won the Alfred G. Vanderbilt H.-G1 and the Count Fleet Sprint H.-G3 earlier this season, he now has career earnings of $1,248,437.
