Making his career debut going seven furlongs on the dirt, INDICT turned back a challenger in a long stretch drive to win this Maiden Special Weight at Ellis Park by 1/2 length. Breaking last from post two, the 2-year-old colt from the first crop of Champion BLAME challenged the frontrunner through the turn, then put in a long sustained drive to earn the win.
